MailStore Outlook Add-In, The Most Common Way to Access Your Email Archive
The Outlook Add-in is the most popular method for users to access email archives in MailStore Server. Depending on how MailStore is configured, other options include Web Access, an integrated IMAP server, and the MailStore Client.

Outlook Add-in's latest version can be downloaded from our website here. You can access a short blog post with a screenshot about the Outlook Add-in from here. You will find detailed guidance on how to install the add-in, for example, via Active Directory group policies, in our comprehensive MailStore Server Help. A short note regarding security: Since version 12 of MailStore Server, encrypted HTTPS connections have been used by default for all new installations of the Outlook Add-in.
Practical Tip I: Advanced Search is an original feature that has been distributed to many MailStore users, allowing them to quickly find specific emails and file attachments. Even complex search queries and significant email volumes do not pose a problem for the search functionality of MailStore Server. For more information on using the advanced search feature, please see our Technical Tip: Advanced Search Function in MailStore Server.
Practical Tip II: Are you using a different email client? If so, depending on your personal usage preferences and MailStore Server configuration, we can recommend our browser-based Web Access or the IMAP server integrated with MailStore Server as alternative access tools.
