MailStore Version 24.4 Released, New MailStore Application for Outlook
New Features in MailStore Version 24.4 MailStore version 24.4 includes a new MailStore Application for Outlook, providing direct access to MailStore within Outlook. In addition, MailStore V24.4 now supports archiving emails with binary content from MailStore Gateway V24.4 (or future newer MailStore Gateway versions).
New MailStore Application for Outlook
The new MailStore Application for Outlook allows direct access to MailStore from Microsoft 365 Outlook and Web-based Outlook. The application provides the functionality of MailStore Web Access directly within Outlook. For more details, you can find them in our online help.
Note: The existing MailStore Outlook Add-in is still available and works with all Outlook versions that do not have application support. The MailStore Outlook Add-in does not work with the Outlook versions supported by the application for Outlook on Microsoft 365 and Web. The new MailStore Application for Outlook is required for these Outlook versions.
MailStore Gateway 24.4: Archiving Emails with Binary Content
Messages with binary content can now be received and archived via the BDAT SMTP command (RFC 3030), improving the retrieval of daily messages from MailStore Gateway to Microsoft 365.
Security has also been enhanced. The MailStore Gateway service now uses .NET 8.
Updated Certification: Meeting Data Privacy Requirements
As usual, the latest version of our software, MailStore Server and MailStore SPE 24.4, has been approved by an independent data privacy expert.
The certificate takes into account all relevant aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and confirms that both MailStore Server and MailStore SPE meet all requirements for processing personal data as specified in the GDPR when used appropriately.
