TMG7800 Media Gateway
Introduction
This documentation provides a technical overview of the Telcobridges Tmedia TMG7800, a high-density, carrier-grade VoIP gateway. System Architecture
The TMG7800 utilizes a scalable building-block approach, allowing carriers to configure a single system from 16 to 1,024 T1/E1 lines, 1 to 48 DS3 lines, or 1 to 16 OC3/STM-1 lines per cluster. A single TMG7800 system can control up to 4 clusters, creating a non-blocking switch for up to 131,072 channels.

Interfaces and Capacity

PSTN Interfaces
- T1/E1: 16 to 1,024 per cluster.
